Crow Hill Wedding – Yorkshire Wedding Photographer – Introducing Karen and Danny

Karen and Danny were married earlier this year at Crow Hill over in Marsden Yorkshire. The venue was a beautiful country house with fantastic views and is set on the edge of the National Trust Marsden Moor Estate, in the heart of beautiful Yorkshire.

I have know Karen for some years having worked with her in a previous employment and I was delighted when she asked me to photograph her Wedding to Danny.

The day started off with some Bridal preparations, and it was fun watching all the little bridesmaids running around in their beautiful dresses. The wedding was a small intimate affair with family and close friends. I was so happy to see Karen and Danny get married, they both looked ever so stunning and this venue was just perfect.

Everyone had a great day, and even the sun shone on this special day.

Wishing Karen and Danny all the best for the future.

Dukinfield Town Hall and Park Wedding Photography – The Wedding of Ellen and Greg

We got to know Ellen and Greg from photographing her Brothers Wedding at Stanneylands Hotel the year previous and they had booked us on their recommendation.

Ellen and Greg were married on the 23rd August 2012 at Dukinfield Town Hall, it was a really intimate ceremony of just family and very close friends.

For a November Wedding the weather was crisp but very sunny, It’s really nice to photograph a wedding party where you feel already familiar and comfortable with the guests, many of which we now call friends.

The day started off with me photographing bridal preparations at the Village Hotel in Ashton Under Lyne and Jason photographing the groom preparations at his Mothers House.

From there we went off to the Ceremony which was held at Dukinfield Town Hall and then to Dukinfield Park for personal photographs of just Ellen and Greg.  I always love this part of the day, it’s a time away and a chance for the bride and groom to take a breath and have a few minutes to themselves before returning to family, friends and the celebration’s ahead.

The reception was held at the Masonic Lodge in Ashton Under Lyne, and we ended the day with the speeches, first dance and the bride and groom were brave enough to face the cold November night for some final shots outside the venue.

This was a really beautiful day, night and evening for more reasons than one.

Wishing Ellen and Greg all the best for the future, it was a great pleasure to photograph your Wedding.

Keeley and John Foster – Wedding Photography in Chadderton

Keeley and John Foster were married back in October last year at St Matthews Church In Chadderton.  The day started with bride and groom preparations, Jason went off to photograph the Groom at his parents house and I went off to photograph Keeyley at her parents.

John was really nervous and described jason afterwards as a calming influence, but like any father even on his Wedding day his first thought was taking care of his son, and making sure he was ready for the big day.  Of course there had to be his trade mark hat which just looked awesome and soo cute!

One of my favourite parts of a Wedding is photographing the bridal preparations, its all about details, I love the nerves, happiness and emotion that happens in the morning.

It was a beautiful October day, everyone looked amazing and you could clearly see that John and Keeley were made for each other.

One of my standout memories was them walking down the aisle to Queen’s “your my best friend” surely that say’s so much about their relationship.

I wish them every happiness for the future

Lisa and Jason xx

Another Highly commended award received from the SWPP

Here is another highly commended award that we received from the SWPP for our dog Portraiture.

This is our dog Bokeh and the image was taken on Formby Beach a couple of months ago.  It was shot against the Sun using on camera flash on a high F stop to achieve the star burst that you see in the sun.

It’s one of my all time favourite images that we have of him!

Audenshaw Family Portraiture – Introducing the Wilks Family

It’s a while ago that I did this session with the Wilks family, in fact it was this time last year, but it was one of my favourite sessions that we did.

The session took place in Stamford park which is a favourite place of mine to shoot family portraits and its right on my door step.

These kids were soo full of laughter and energy that I had trouble keeping up with them:)

Here are some of my favourites from the session.

Enjoy:)
